Illustration Friday: Gravity

click on image for larger view

when you think of gravity who do you think of? Sir Isaac Newton, of course! before he came along people had no idea what to call it, most believed the world was flat! so who better to personify this week's word challenge than he?

yet another homage, this time to the Golden Age of Marvel and the man most responsible for making Marvel Comics great (along with his cohort in comic goodness Stan "the man" Lee), the legendary Jack Kirby!

created specifically for this week's IF challenge in Adobe Illustrator. as always, true believers, thanks for the complimentary comments last week, and have a groovy week ahead!

Excelsior!

Oh, man. I love the Kirby-esque perspective. And the little figure on the lower left is perfect Kirby posing.

Definitely a Marvel character; if it were DC he'd be Gravito from the planet Graviton.

'nuff said.
